Leander, Tx./ June 2, 2017- Cypress Technologies Corporation celebrates 30 years of rugged, reliable manufacturing to the oil & gas, diversified industrial, heavy equipment, military and mining industries!
The celebration kicks off June 5th with a week-long trivia game for employees and prizes for the winners! Brian Jenkins, General Manager, explains, “After 30 years, we have collected an extensive amount of fun facts that should amaze as well as enlighten. The trivia game is a fun way for employees to remember our history as we reflect and learn from both our successes and our flops. After all, it’s these experiences that have made Cypress Technologies a stronger company today.” An employee appreciation party is scheduled for Friday, June 9th from 2-4 pm at the Leander manufacturing facility where employees will enjoy refreshments and C.E.O. Greg Child will give the opening speech. Greg states, “Our employees and their families are invaluable and the celebration is just a small expression for the great appreciation we have for each other.” The festivities will carry into the weekend with a lakeside family picnic on Saturday, June 10th at Jones Brother’s Park from 12-6 p.m. complete with food, lawn games, music, and raffle prizes.
Cypress Technologies was founded in 1987 by David & Jacqueline Child as a solution to the growing demand for rugged data storage in the oil & gas industry. Over the past 30 years, Cypress Technologies’ manufacturing capabilities evolved from storage products to include all electro-mechanical assemblies.
